Works well. It took a few tries to fold it the first time. Definetly need to practice folding on dry land before trying the fist time. Other then that, it's easy to use. -
I agree with no panacea.
I have used this several times, without any great benefit as far as moving. I am 230 pounds, so that may be part of the problem. I took it out in a good wind yesterday. After struggling with it getting water in it, and the line falling under the bow, I got it going. I went downwind about a mile....

WABASHA, Minn. — Richie Mann is not your father's bed and breakfast proprietor. And Turning Waters is not your father's bed and breakfast. Along with the customary Bs, Mann offers guests an A — adventure.
Guest packages at Turning Waters BB&A, which opened in October, include kayaking, biking and hiking in the summer, and snowshoeing, spear fishing and snowkiting in the winter.
For Mann, 27, this latest venture is an easy opportunity to share his love of the outdoors. After he graduated from college four years ago, he moved to Alaska and became a kayak instructor, living in a tent by the Pacific Ocean. He also spent time as an instructor at a nature center and as a wilderness therapy instructor.
His transition into the hospitality business was anything but natural. One day, he got an email from a college friend out of the blue. His friend asked him if he wanted to manage a property in Wabasha he had just bought.
"It was one of those times where everything just clicks," Mann said. "It makes sense."
