Good for price.
Good for the price. Use only on calm lakes and rivers. The paddle really stinks, but I'm too cheap to get a new one. I only have a car, and because I'm in an apartment I only have street parking, thus, this was nice because it fit in my car. This was a perfect way to get me out on the lake... -

A bill in the Maryland General Assembly would require a state-issued permit to paddle off a state, county or municipally owned launch at a price of $15 a year for Marylanders and $25 for non-residents. A two-year permit could be bought for $25 and $40, respectively.
"The goal was to fix the issue that some jurisdictions charge separate fees," said Sen. Andy Harris, a Baltimore and Harford County Republican who sponsored the bill in the Senate. "Instead of requiring individual launching permits, you would get a statewide one, and it would allow you access to any launching in the state."
Some local governments in Maryland charge as much as $150 a year to kayakers and canoeists for the use of boat ramps, legislative analysts who studied the bill noted. Paddlers only need to pay at state parks if launching from a trailer. The bill is meant to standardize that, said Delegate Adelaide Eckardt, R-37B-Dorchester, who was one of 14 sponsors of the legislation in the House.
